I am trying to use a firefox addon for ubernote that clips a website into my ubernote account. I noticed that uberclip only works if I turn off NoScript.
The javascript that it is running is the following:
javascript:%20(%20function(){top.uberbase%20=%20'http://www.ubernote.com/webnote/';var%2 ... p.js';void(document.body.appendChild(%20objScript%20));})()
Is there any way to tell NoScript to allow this to run on any website without disabling NoScript or enable javascript on the page I am on.
Thanks
ubernote

Re: ubernote
That bookmarklet can't work because injects JavaScript in the page asynchronously, therefore the temporary synchronous permissions given by NoScript to the bookmarklet are already gone when its second stage should run.
The Ubernote extension might have a chance to work, if it's written correctly, but I seem to recall an user of the extension reporting it doesn't.
You may want to switch to a different annotation service, such as Google Notes (whose extension had been written from the beginning in a NoScript-compatible way) or EverNote: I modified NoScript with some hacks to make it work -- something which I'm not likely to repeat anymore, otherwise I should litter the NoScript code with work-arounds for every lazy extension out there.

We are working on a no-script version and realize it is important to certain users.
Thanks for trying UberNote!

Here it is 18 months later and I'm having the same troublesome issues with "no script" and ubernote. Is there any progress, Ubernote???
