Firefox 9.0.1
This morning I noticed that when I went to a previously viewed forum that when I "clicked" on a subject it would NOT take me to that page. I have "no script" set for NO permissions at this site. I never had any previous issues.
Later I went to use my "online" banking with FULL permissions. When I went to pay some bills I could NOT enter any values in the boxes. I disabled NoScript in Firefox & restarted the browser. I now could use my banking site including paying bills.
Finally, I reinstalled NoScript with v2.2.7. With THIS version I was FULLY functional at the websites that I previously mentioned. Obviously, there is some update/change in the latest update that impacted the functionality of NoScript for me.
Hopefully, this issue can be resolved with future updates. Until then I'll stay with v2.2.7
TIA

What bank?
Did anything happen when the links would not open or when you could not enter values?
An related Error Console messages?
Only changes appear to be ClearClick related.
If you disable ClearClick, does functionality return?
Does the problem persist in a new, clean Profile with only NoScript installed?
PS: Working on this (informaction) forum & BoA Online Banking & Bill Pay (& everywhere else I have been today).

Re: Issues with update v2.2.8rc
The forum I can't divulge; however, the following is the link to the bank:
https://www.efirstbank.com/
The issue with the bank was in the "bill pay" section where "windows" are provided for "amount" entries. When I clicked on a specific Biller the line would not "highlight" nor was there a cursor in the box that I "clicked" in.
When I disabled NoScript 2.2.8rc the banking site was again fully functional. When I uninstalled NoScript 2.2.8rc & installed NoScript 2.2.7 the banking site & forum were again fully functional.
I'm sure that if I went to other sites I would have found the same issues but again this issue began with NoScript 2.2.8rc
I know you're trying to replicate that problem/issue but I don't want to go back to 2.2.8rc until I see the NEXT NoScript update.
I'm supplying this info as a FYI/heads-up. Other NoScript users should also have some issues with some functions at certain web sites. I guess we'll see.
THANK YOU!!

Re: Issues with update v2.2.8rc
Oh, & I guess I should have asked, though thinking at the time you did, but now thinking, wrongly, did you try version 2.2.8rc2?

Re: Issues with update v2.2.8rc
As a follow-up to my last reply I'll follow-up with your questions regarding disabling "clear click" & checking for "Error Console messages" BEFORE I disable "clear click".
BUT, to be sure I'm properly disabling "clear click", give me a "run-down" on the procedure in "Options" so I can be sure I'm NOT missing anything!
Also, I was able to install NoScript 2.2.7 by downloading at your website. So, I'll need a link for v2.2.8rc if I'm to do this. Also, I want a link to 2.2.7 in case I'm still having issues & went to temporally revert back. Because after I do all this you may have updated your "download" to 2.2.8rc & I want to be able to have the option of reverting back.
TIA

Re: Issues with update v2.2.8rc
Man, you're "quick" on the "draw"! lol
No, I have NOT tried v2.2.8rc2
I'm curious as to why only v2.2.7 is available on your website but I was automatically updated to v2.2.8rc?
No, matter, just point me to a download link for v2.2.8rc2 & I'll download it. Again, let me know how to properly disable "clear click" just in case I need to "trouble shoot" 8rec2--hopefully NOT!

Thinking that you actually had noscript-2.2.7rc1.xpi, the #dev version (which also happened to be the 2.2.7 Release), though the #dev version would have put you on the #dev update channel (I think is how it works)?

Not sure, offhand?

Re: Issues with update v2.2.8rc
Again, I'm REALLY impressed by your quick responses to my issues. That being said, THANKS for the link but after I went out for a walk I came back in & managed to find the link to NoScript 2.2.8rc2.
I just finished "test driving" it at those sites that had issues & am glad to report that ALL is "well" again.
So, I guess it's safe to say that this "thread" should be marked as "Resolved". NoScript 2.2.8rc has "issues" but were fixed with NoScript 2.2.8rc2!
THANKS therube for your assistance on this issue!
