Flashget closes down itself

I've been using Flashget for ages and all day today. Suddenly Flashget closes second after I start it. I tried restarting my PC and also deleting and re-downloading Flashget but still have the same problem. I also no longer get the option in my browser (firefox) for Flashgot whether I want to download it through the built in browser or via Flashget, I used to get the option before. I've used it OK all day today and haven't even downloaded any dodgy files, just pdfs so it is a mystery to men as well as a misery because the built in browser is much slower on downloads than the Flashget program.

Doesn't it sound as though the problem is in Flashget, rather than in Flashgot?
... in which case, consult their support.

Also, please try Standard Diagnostic to check for general extension conflicts, profile corruption, etc.
