I don't know if it's an extension conflict, but I'm having an annoying bug here whenever I middle miss click a link, hold and move my mouse down to not open the link, somehow the flashgot take it as a hotkey and download that link.
It's kind of dificult to explain but it goes like this: middle click a link[hold], move mouse down then release.
Using firefox 8.0 but it was happening before at 6.x

Standard Diagnostic is expressly designed to find extension conflicts, profile corruption, etc.Shimizu wrote:I don't know if it's an extension conflict, but I'm having an annoying bug here whenever I middle miss click a link, hold and move my mouse down to not open the link, somehow the flashgot take it as a hotkey and download that link.

If you want to determine if it's related to Flashgot (or to NoScript, if you have it), an even quicker way is to create a clean profile, then install only Flashgot. (and for your safety, also install NoScript if you presently have it. Since both extensions were designed by the same developer, conflicts between them are very unlikely.)
If the problem disappears, there is a conflict with some other extension, or perhaps profile corruption. If it persists, please post back for further assistance.
Also please ensure that you have the latest builds of Flashgot (and Noscript, if applicable). You may also wish to try latest development build for Noscript and FlashGot latest development build.

Just tested in a clean profile only with flashgot, this 'gesture hotkey' still persists, if I disable flashgot it stops.Tom T. wrote:Standard Diagnostic is expressly designed to find extension conflicts, profile corruption, etc.Shimizu wrote:I don't know if it's an extension conflict, but I'm having an annoying bug here whenever I middle miss click a link, hold and move my mouse down to not open the link, somehow the flashgot take it as a hotkey and download that link.

OK, thanks for that information. I'll ask Giorgio to look at your issue.Shimizu wrote:Just tested in a clean profile only with flashgot, this 'gesture hotkey' still persists, if I disable flashgot it stops.Tom T. wrote:<snip> If you want to determine if it's related to Flashgot (or to NoScript, if you have it), an even quicker way is to create a clean profile, then install only Flashgot. Re: Hotkey bug
It's a feature, not a bug, and the only sane way to download in one click without using keyboard or navigating a menu.
You can disable it by setting the flashgot.gesture about:config preference to false.
