NoScript and Blockbuster.com

Post by DoctorQ »

Hi. I finally figured out why I couldn't log into my Blockbuster.com account with Firefox 8.0. Turns out, it doesn't play well with NoScript v2.2. I tested this by disabling NoScript Extension in Firefox, and then I can successfully log into my Blockbuster account. However, as soon as I enable the NoScript Extension, problem comes back. I even added "Blockbuster.com" as a Trusted site in NoScript, and that didn't work. Any suggestions? I'd really like to keep NoScript enabled, but not at the expense of it preventing me from using this website? Thx.

It may not be NoScript itself; it may be a conflict between NoScript and another of your add-ons.
The most thorough test is to do the Standard Diagnostic.

Fastest is:
Create a clean profile from scratch.
Install *only* NoScript.

If the page now works for you, then NoScript has been exonerated, and you know you need to do the above-linked test.
Or just add back your add-ons one at a time, until finally, one breaks the page for you.

If the page does not work on the clean profile with only NoScript, then further investigation is required.

Please advise the results. If you find the offending add-on, please let us know which.
It's also helpful if you post your list of add-ons. Thanks.
