recently blocked sites - auto reset on browser closing?
recently blocked sites - auto reset on browser closing?
As the subject title says. I would like to know if I missed one of the tick boxes to automatically clear out the recently blocked sites when I close out firefox. Thanks.

That should happen automatically. Does it not?Guest wrote:As the subject title says. I would like to know if I missed one of the tick boxes to automatically clear out the recently blocked sites when I close out firefox. Thanks.
E. g.: You visit SiteA.com. Menu shows some recently-blocked sites. Make a note of them.
Close and restart Firefox. Visit SiteB.com, but *not* SiteA. Are the same sites showing that were blocked at SiteA ?
If so, do you have Fiirefox set to restore tabs from your last session?
Tools > Options > General > Startup: When Firefox starts:
(Show my home page)
(Show a blank page)
(Show my windows and tabs from last time)
If you have the third one checked, that explains why the same "recently-blocked" show up.
If you have the first one checked, whatever gets blocked at your home page will be in the list every time.
With "blank page" checked, the Rec-Block list should always start out empty, until you actually visit a site.
If you want to keep the "home page" or "last time" option, but want to clear the recent list, open NS Menu, point to "Recently blocked sites", and click "reset".
Problem solved?
