Having a terrible time with NoScript

Post by Nikilet »

I'm still having much trouble. I've always used NoScript with Firefox and never had any mentionable issues, but not so since I added it to Firefox 7. All I do is click, click, click, click to get a page to function correctly, and I can not get the videos of toys to play on Walmart.com at all. I have to open the page in IE and then I can play the videos.

I'm all for safety, but isn't there some adjustment or help to be had with this. It pretty much is making my online experience miserable. I just use it as it installs because I don't know enough to make any changes.

Have you read the NoScript Quick Start Guide, and the NoScript FAQ? They will help immensely.
If you still have specific questions that are not answered there, please post them, and we'll help you.

Also, there were several replies to your previous post, including one from me about how to discard both Roboform and Lastpass in favor of a password manager that is free, and is totally self-contained on your machine or even your flash drive. No dependence on third parties; no risk of them being compromised or going out of business.

And there was an answer to your question about what you need to do about script surrogates. (Hint: 0 )
Please check those out.

Thanks,
Tom
