I want to save content from my local televison channels website where you can watch full episodes of any missed show.
However it seems their content is securely embedded and protected and flashgot only seems to work on capturing the advertisemnt just before the show start but not on the actual movie.
The video is playing through something called "movideo-player" and it has an "embedded" code that you can copy, but I dont know if thats any use for downloading it?
Can anyone tell me the format of the video I am trying to download for example .swf .flv or .rmtp ?
So how do I download from this site?
http://ten.com.au/watch-tv-episodes-online.htm
Select any tv show you want from the list on that site and tell me if you figure out how to download it, Thanks.
How do I download content from my Television Networks site?

Not sure what list I'm supposed to select from, but nothing I tried worked.
So how about a more direct link?

Re: How do I download content from my Television Networks si
That's exactly the problem, flashgot does not work on any of the videos I tried either.
All the videos are embedded into the site, when i select a video, the website adress does not change so I cant give you a specific link for those videos. For example select "Modern Family" or "Glee" from the list.
You also said "Not sure what list I'm supposed to select from" there is a huge playlist arranged in alphebetical order showing all the tv series you can watch, the netire site is covered in videos, select any video and see if you can use flashgot on it. I would really apreciate your help on this.

Re: How do I download content from my Television Networks si
Guess I should have been more clear.
None of the videos I tried worked at all, so there was nothing for FlashGot to even see.
Could the US be banned from viewing?
This page, http://ten.com.au/watch-tv-episodes-onl ... o_m=132335, this is all I get:

Re: How do I download content from my Television Networks si
Omg, I had no idea you couldnt see it, sorry I didnt realize that was the problem, it seems they have blocked other countries from acessing the site. I guess my query will remain a mystery unless someone from Australia tries to acess the site. Will it help if I pasted an image of the "Page Source" for the website so you can tell me if there are any visible extension types in there that will allow me to download?
By the way this is how I am seeing the website...

Re: How do I download content from my Television Networks si
therube, I have an off topic question in regards to the screenshot you posted...
Often when I want to grab an image from the web I just use the "print screen" button on the keyboard and then paste it into "paint" and save it. But as you can see my pasted screen shot does not look as clear and sharp as your screen shot, so i was wondering , how did you get such a clear image?

Re: How do I download content from my Television Networks si
PNG vs. JPEG?
I use this to take captures, FastStone Capture 5.3.
Great little (free) program.
(Actually I use the more recent shareware version, FastStone Capture. The only reason is because I capture a lot of <browser> scrolling windows & Mozilla changed the "meaning" of a window, where the older version of FSCapture <& most other screen capture programs> no longer worked for that.)

Ah I see, I did'nt realise yours was .png because when I right clicked on it and it said .jpg
Thanks very much for answering my question and for introducing me to that cool little program, it will come in very handy.

I hadn't even noticed that.
I usually host at http://tinypic.com & it looks like when they return a link to an image it always (?) gets a ".jpg" extension, even if the actual file is a .png.
And in fact, either are accepted as a link to the file.

or
http://i51.tinypic.com/24mrqd2.png
both return the same item (& it is a png).
