Since 2.1.2.8 no pdf placeholder if collapse is checked

Since version 2.1.2.8 the little placeholder is no longer visible opening pdf links, when "Collapse blocked objects" is checked.

You get it, if you have a pdf plugin and have checked:
Forbid other plugins
Show placeholder icon
Collapse blocked objects

If you uncheck Collapse..., you get an uncollapsed placeholder.
Giorgio is investigating, though.

Oh, OK.
You have to have Apply these restrictions to whitelisted sites too enabled.
(At least on the test page you gave, as that page is whitelisted by default.)

(I started with a new Profile, so by default that is not checked, so there was nothing for me to see, or not.)

It's intentional, because collapsing on a plugin document is not very useful, but makes it less obvious and harder to activate.

Youtube videos don't show up here, so I tried using http://kb.mozillazine.org/Testing_plugins, which was down half the day.
Embedded objects are collapsed there and the not collapsed document looks better than it was before, thank you
