Enhancement: ability to comment Whitelist

Post by calvin49 »

I would like the convenience of an option in NoScript to comment Whitelist entries as I add them. After a few weeks of browsing the Web, my Whitelist grows, and inevitably I will add an occasional questionable site. I would like to be able to cleanup the list every so often by removing my errors, but I usually just Reset the Whitelist and start over because I can't remember which of the scores of sites I've entered are "safe" and which "questionable".

Being able to jot down a quick comment as I add a site to the Whitelist would allow me to remember why an entry was added.

Thanks!

May I suggest using the "Temporarily allow" function for all sites that you do not trust implicitly, and/or do not believe that you will be a regular visitor there? This keeps the whitelist what it *should* be - your most-trusted and most-used sites. You should have no trouble remembering why they're there, and the "questionable" ones won't be there.
