Does Noscript work similar to Ghostery 2.6.0.1 by blocking tracking sites? Does Noscript protect my privacy like Ghostery does against these sites when I surf the web?

NoScript is not primarily a privacy tool, but it will block tracking scripts. Ghostery will block web bugs, which NoScript will not. However, if you really want privacy, I'd start with RequestPolicy or maybe Adblock Plus
