When I try to close Firefox (version 6.0.1), the window closes normally; however, the firefox.exe process continues to run.
This is rectified by disabling the NoScript (2.1.2.6) extension specifically (none of the other extensions I use have this problem), and the problem returns when I enable the NoScript extension.
I'd like to keep using NoScript for obvious reasons-- how can I fix this problem? This hasn't started happening until a few days ago (haven't downloaded/changed anything to my knowledge).
Thanks in advance

Re: NoScript Extension prevents Firefox close
Thank you for reminding me to update. However, any ideas about the NoScript extension/close problem?

Sorry, I wanted to reply to another thread.
About your problem: I have no idea what could help, but if I remember correctly you are not the first to have these symptoms, users of older versions had (and maybe still have?) these problems too and posted in these forums.
I can just advise you to try the traditional issue-finding/-solving procedure of deactivating other add-ons and/or creating a fresh Firefox profile.
