I'm finding using Firefox a nightmare because using No Script causes most of the new pages I visit to freeze for about a minute and then it starts working. I know No Script is a great resource but is there anything that can help to make my internet surfing smoother?
Thank you.

Could you please check whether deactivating ABE makes it better?

Re: Firefox is not Responding
When I was in the options section I checked the sound button that tells you it blocks scripts and the exact same freeze happened so I closed my browser switched it on and turned off that sound alert option and now it's working like a dream.
Thank you for guiding me to the options section and helping me to find a solution

Re: Firefox is not Responding
NoScript is not doing much besides instructing Firefox to play the sound, so under Giorgio finds a workaround for this Firefox issue then that's not very likely.

I spent three months struggling with this problem and it near drove me mad but I stuck with No Script regardless. Surfing online is so much easier now.Jason wrote:Had similar problem! fixed by disabling the sound alert!![]()
i think this glitch will be fixed in next update.
