Clarification on "allow all this page"

Hi there. I've read through the FAQ and haven't found a definitive answer to this question, so:

Sometimes I go to a page that has multiple scripts running, like a blog that has ads, captcha for comments, and so on.

I have no good way of knowing if particular scripts are safe or not, but I know whose pages I trust [and want to permanently allow] and whose I'm cautious with [and so I temporarily allow]. Right now, I'm always choosing temporarily allow because I don't know the answer to my specific question, which is:

when I choose "allow all this page", does that mean that (a) the scripts being used on "this page" will be whitelisted for all time, regardless of whether they're on this page or another page? Or does it mean that (b) Noscript will whitelist this page, so that everything that was showing up on this page (today when you clicked the button) will always be allowed when you come to this page, but if you run across the same script on another page, you'll have to make that decision again?

I guess ultimately it doesn't matter; if a script is safe on this page I trust then it's safe on another page. What I probably ought to be doing is reading the "publisher details" or whatever you call it so I know exactly which page elements are controlled by each script (ie, this one is the ad, that one is the captcha, this one allows me to expand the archive menu, etc), and since I don't really have time for that I'll probably just be clicking "temporarily allow" on almost everything I encounter. But still if you have any insight, and could answer my question, I'd really appreciate it.

So I can allow everything on page x.com but not on y.com.

In your reply to the op, you said allowing it would whitelist for all time whether on that page or another page. Do you mean that it would also allow those same scripts on other websites as well?

Yes, but only if the top-level site for the other website is Allowed.
