I just reinstalled both firefox and noscript and I'm noticing one change. I don't recall this happening before: If I go to the NS icon and click on "Revoke Temporary Permissions" the effected pages reload (as they do when clicking "temporarily allow all this page"). Maybe I'm not remembering correctly, but I don't recall this behavior in the past. So, my question is: Is this new?
Either way, this does present a small problem. When a user wants to allow scripting on one webpage it, of course, makes sense to reload that page. But if a user has multiple tabs open that may have had scripting temporarily allowed, and the user then clicks "REVOKE temporary permissions" all effected pages reload. So, the user may receive cookies, etc from multiple sites all at once in a fashion that is less controllable. That, I believe, may have privacy implications. And from a convenience standpoint, a user may be surprised to find that once paused of finished audio or video content has refreshed and begun playing on some tab that is not currently being viewed.
