I don't play Cityville but I am familiar with the architecture of several Zynga games and so I can help you a little on this.

@therube, there is no city link, its played from within Facebook apps as a game loading in an iframe.

@OP:
I have a few questions, besides NoScript, what else do you have installed (specifically: RequestPolicy? Adblock Plus? Ghostery?) that regulates "security" on that Fx profile? If you provide me that, then I can help you tweak it easier and get it working.

Could you check whether rc3 works?

Actually I can't use any facebook games. None of the buttons do anything when I click on them and clearing my cache and cookies didn't do a thing. Last time I had this problem it was the newest version of noscript that was the culprit

Well as I said earlier, if you can provide the information requested, I can walk you through the setup to make it work. Otherwise, you can work with the RC3 that Giorgio provided in the meantime to see if that fixes it for you but I am assuming there is something else in play OTHER THAN NoScript, so if you can provide me the information, I might be able to help you get it working. Good luck.

I'm having this problem, too. Just started last night after NoScript updated to the latest version. Clicking on the tabs in FarmVille, as well as a lot of other buttons within the game, does nothing. Only other security add-on I have installed is Adblock Plus.

I was unable to click or right click on any Flash content loaded in Facebook after this morning's auto-update, and eventually narrowed it down to the clearclick protection. I came here to see what others were saying, saw the reply here about rc3, and decided to try it.

After installing and restarting, enabling clearclick protection no longer appears to interfere with Flash content.

(Now if only the Google Analytics script surrogate would get fixed. I have to allow Google Analytics to play just about any game on Facebook these days.)

Okay, rc3 does seem to fix the problem. When it wasn't working before with rc2, the error console kept saying that NoScript ClearClick was swallowing events.

This is what I don't get. I am running the same version, playing over 8 different games and EVERYTHING works fine. Not to mention I have enough security here to break even a good working site, which most games on FB are not. So back to the basics of debugging. 1) What else could be there that's affecting it, try using a clean profile with JUST NoScript and see if the problem still occurs, my guess would be no. 2) If you have Adblock Plus installed, then check under blockable contents, make sure that anything containing zynga and track.php in the same URL is not blocked, that's how they manage their stuff but gets swallowed in the track rule, so add an exemption to that rule for facebook. Other than that, you should not be having a problem and if you are, then its not NS, or I would be having problems too along with millions of others who use NS and FB at the same time.

I am having the same problems. I can't play certain games on Pogo.com either. I've disabled all add-on ext. in mozilla and re-enabled them one by one. The sites work with every addon except noscript.
