Authoratative Guide for NoScript + FF Sync ?

Is there a guide or up-to-date faq entry somewhere about getting NoScript working with Firefox Sync? I've read a smattering of forum posts, played with "uninstall NS, sync, reinstall NS" order etc. on my other FF installs, played with about:config, pulled my Firefox profile out of a backup, and more but just can't get it working. I lost a year of fine-tuned site-specific js rules. Worse, even while I try to rebuild the rules, my main machine's noscript prefs aren't syncing out, and are instead getting blown out every few days as I use my other machines.
Any help appreciated. Joel

NoScript 2.1.1.1 on Firefox 5.0 for Mac. I also use Sync in Firefox for Android, XP, Win 7, Ubuntu, and a couple more Macs.
