can't resize search box in firefox if flashgot installed

I think, the flashgot media button placed between address bar and search bar prevents resizing. Please make it optional.
firefox 5.0 and flashgot 1.3.0.2
I have a habit to resize the search box pretty often.

FlashGot Media (icon & all) can be disabled entirely (about:config, flashgot.media.enabled, may need restart?).
Suppose that the icon can be dragged most anywhere you like (right-click a toolbar, Customize, though I haven't tried)?

@OP: you're right, it looks like a bug (not sure whether in Firefox of FlashGot, yet).

OK, now I've got ask, just how do you "resize [the] search box"?
If I resize the browser window, the (& I guess it's like Google) search box dynamically resizes, but I didn't see how you "drag" it to make it larger on its own?

Figured it out - finally.

Move the cursor in between the URL bar & the search bar, at which point it changes to a double-arrow, & then you can resize one against the other.
(Does not work like that in SeaMonkey.)

Not going to be FlashGot specific as dragging an ABP icon in between the two, & you're again not able to resize.
Drag the icon away & you can.

(FF3.6 behaves the same.)

Here's what worked for me: I went to a page with some media, then chosen "customize" from the panel's context menu and dragged the media button to the left from the address bar

In fact, the only possible "fix" is moving the button on the left by default. Whatever button it's placed between the address box and the search box will prevent resizing.

Right. (Doesn't have to be a "button" per se, even a "Separator" causes it to fail.)
