[Resolved] Latest Noscript permanently disable JS

Post by noiano »

Hello everyone,
I use both chrome and Firefox with NS. I recently noticed a strange and odd behavior: NS seems to block all JS no matter what. Even if I select the option to allow script globally no js is ever executed. Take a look here:

Secondly if I disable that option I am still unable to put some website into the whitelist :

FYI websites that are listed in the whitelist are blocked too...this is the first time this strange behavior happens.

Any ideas? I've tried to create a new clean profile, install NS and import the whitelists...nothing changes

PS: latest version of FF

Is acidtests.org marked as Untrusted?
If it is, JavaScript would be blocked (for any Untrusted domains) regardless of an Allow Scripts Globally setting.

Otherwise, with your new Profile test, do not import anything & try the acidtests.org page.
There could be some sort of corruption or simply something set that is affecting that site.

So it happens after you import the whitelist?

The odd behavior was caused by that option that disables all active content unless it comes from a secure connection...so my bad :)
