Noscript seems to have been uninstalled

Post by Joe »

I've just started up firefox (4.0.1 on Windows 7 64bit) and noscript is not there. There's absoutely no way I uninstalled it, I'm too paranoid to

Is this a bug with the extension manager or noscript? How do I go about submitting a bug or finding more info on what's happened?

Thanks

It might be an Add-Ons Manager corruption.

Could you try to follow the steps outlined in this article?

Also, if you've got Firefox extensions called "Zone Alarm Toolbar", "HP Smart Web Printing", "Skype", ".NET Framework Assistant" or "McAfee Site Advisor" please uninstall them: they're buggy and known to cause this problem.

Thanks, I've done that, but no difference. I don't have any of the extensions listed either. I wonder if a firefox crash caused it?

It might, but is NoScript the only affected item?
Does reinstalling it work?

Yes, it works after a re-install, all my settings are still there. Thanks, I'll keep an eye out to see if it happens again, very odd.
