List of Scripts

Post by eakinsoxley »

disclaimer - I am a complete noob.

I'd like to watch an episode of a show on abc.com. I can watch it if I temporarily allow all scripts on the site.

But there are about 10, and I would prefer that in order to watch, I only have to allow the minimum amount.

I remember 10 years ago when Microsoft embedded their explorer code within the Windows OS so you couldn't run Windows if you removed explorer. Is that similar to what these scripts do? I.e. in order to watch my episode I must allow, for some reason, the three facebook scripts?

Here's a screenshot of the scripts on this page - I thought it wise to always forbid some, but since I can't get the episode to play, I'm having second thoughts.

Depends.
Usually it is only one or two domains you need to Allow.
You get a feel for it over time.
