whitelisting embeds

Post by Grindle »

Hello, I like to use noscript to stop plugins loading, but I do not really care about javascript.

What I do is set the "Scripts Globally Allowed" option, and then in the Embeddings section "Apply these restrictions to whitelisted sites too".

It works great, but there are some sites I trust that I would like to whitelist so that embeddings work (e.g. youtube), is there a way to do that?

Thank you!

You can (but temporarily, until you close the browser) by using the "Blocked Objects..." menu.
NoScript 3 will give you means to do it permanently.

Ah, too bad. Thanks anyway Giorgio. Look forward to the new version.
