I use NS as a general content blocker (Apply these restrictions to whitelisted sites too). I have Forbid IFRAMEs checked. After updating to 2.1.0.6rc3 I notice that the iframes that are used to be blocked by NS and replaced with a NS blocked icon are now loading. Other contents such as Flash are still blocked properly.
A good example of how I know Forbid IFRAMEs is working as a content blocker is when visiting a Blogspot blog (ex. http://googlechromereleases.blogspot.com/, the topmost bar containing log in for Blogger used to be blocked by NS, but is now shown
Let me know what further info I can provide to assist in troubleshooting the matter.

It should be a regression from rc2. Investigating, thanks.

My thoughts as well. Forbid IFRAMEs is a great security feature provided by NS (considering how many web attacks are served via IFRAMEs), and I can't be without it.
Will be staying tuned for updates then. Thank you.
