clear click warnings

Post by mss666 »

hi
sorry if this has been asked before, i did search but couldnt find the answer

i keep getting clear click warnings while im play mafia wars on facebook, i mark it as trusted and carry on but the next time i click anything i get the warning again.

i know it is the facebook chat box that is causing it (i click the image and it shows me) i have tried reporting it but didnt seem to help but its getting to the stage where im going to have to uninstall NS which i really dont want to do but it's driving me crazy

so what i want to know is how can i stop it from giving me the warning everytime i click a link on mafia wars. I tried unticking the clear click warning, which will stop them but then wont let me click any of the links on the site.

report id:1705690 or 1705745 i get a new one each time i go to the site and click anything

Try to add facebook.mafiawars.com to your noscript.clearClick.subexceptions about:config preference.

hi thanks for your reply but it didn't help any and is now driving me nuts.

it only happens if i have my group chat box open, if i close that chat box but leave chat on the warnings stop but i do need that group chat box open.

other then removing no script is there a way to stop the clear click part?
i tried setting the option in about:config to false
tried adding it to the exceptions
tried facebook.com apps.facebook apps.facebook.mafiawars facebook.mafiawars
but none of it helped.
I know a bit (okay a little bit) about what im doing but cant seem to stop the warnings. when they have happened before after a few clicks it's seems to get the idea and stops warning me but this has been happening since the last update and i get 1 warning everytime i open a new page which happens every 10 min's or so (stupid game) and the only option i have now is to turn off no script which i really dont want to do

It should have worked. Could you show me the full content of your noscript.clearClick.subexceptions preference?

Anyway, you can disable ClearClick when the parent site is trusted (like in this case) by unchecking the "Trusted" box under the "ClearClick protection on pages..." label, either in NoScript Options|Embeddings or in the ClearClick dialog itself.
