Error Message Can't open file -s

I previously was using Fx 3.6 with FG (don't remember which release) for possibly 2 years with no problem. Then upgraded to Fx 4.0.1. After installing new release of FG I get this error when I close Fx "Can't open file -s". I tried using an older release of FG, still get the error message after Fx closes. What do I need to do, besides delete FG, to fix this problem? Thank you.

Could you try looking into your profile for a file called "FlashGot.exe" and deleting it, then restarting Firefox?

I deleted FlashGot.exe and that took care of the error message, BUT because I tried several builds of FG now the latest build doesn't work at all. Tried to download a video that I was able to download yesterday and today I cannot download it, that's how I'm testing to see if everything is working correctly. FG captured the file but my download manager was not able to download the file again. What shall I do now?
