External filters - site whitelist lost on restart

Nightly / NoScript 2.1.0.3rc3

When I add new sites to 'Advanced -> External Filters -> Do not filter objects coming from these sites' the sites are lost when I restart the browser.

Confirmed.
Even clicking the Enable external filters checkbox does not stick.

it works for me as long as at least one filter (e.g. Blitzableiter) is defined with its executable.
Please notice that the default entry is just a (disabled) sample, and as such it is immutable.

Confirmed: with executable defined, the site list is remembered.
