Noscript disabled

Post by Spooky »

Hi all,
I'm finding it hard to pin down what's causing this problem, and have tried disabling all extensions, re-enabling them one at a time and created a clean profile.

The error console reports this:
While creating services from category 'profile-after-change', service for entry '@maone.net/noscript-service;1', contract ID '@maone.net/noscript-service;1' does not implement nsIObserver.

What happens is, when I start Firefox I get a message box pop up saying noscript has been disabled, and the above error is logged to the console.

Version 2.1.0.1 was the last version that didn't have this issue for me.
I tried the dev build to no avail.

Disabling and then re-enabling Noscript gets it running again, but then seemingly randomly that error pops up again.

My current extensions are:
- Adblock Plus 1.3.6
- CheckPlaces 2.5.0
- Download Manager Tweak 0.9.5
- DownThemAll! 2.0.2
- Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus 1.1.1
- Extension List Dumper 1.15.0
- Flashblock 1.5.14.2
- Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant 0.0.0
(Disabled)
- Mozilla Archive Format 1.0.0
- NoScript 2.1.0.2
- Session Manager 0.7.5
- Tab Mix Plus 0.3.8.5
- text/plain 1.1.9.2

Any help or advice would be appreciated!

So are you saying this problem happens to you also on a clean profile with just NoScript installed?

I copied the profile to a different PC and could not reproduce that error, strange considering the main difference between the two PCs is one is slower than the other.

I guess we'll have to leave it there, if I can't reproduce it on a different PC then it's going to be hard to pin down.

Sorry for wasting your time.
