[INVALID] Freestockcharts

Post by Cheech »

Hello:

Other that having a site in the whitelist is there something else I would need to do to be able to add symbols to a portfolio in freestockcharts.com? I was able to create the portfolio and add 1 symbol but when I attempt to add another symbol to the portfolio the "Add" button acts like it has been disabled. I can not find any indication that NoScript is blocking it. I even disabled NoScript but that didn't help. The application is written in Silverlight.

I tried the same process using the Chrome browser and it works fine.

Thanks

This hints at a bug in the application, rather than in NoScript (or Firefox).
You should ask its authors to better test on Firefox.

I originally had this problem on my Win 7 system and tried this on my XP system and the problem does not reoccur which I guess adds another variable to the equation, i.e. something in one of the components that is sensitive to the OS. Firefox and NS are both at the same level on both systems (3.6.16 and 2.1.0.1 respectively) as are the application and Silverlight.

Logged off and then on the site again on Win 7 and it works fine, go figure. Obviously not a NS problem.
