Suggestion: "Stop all scripts" button
Just a suggestion--something I think all browsers should have anyway: A button like the Stop button for loading pages, but it stops all scripts from executing when you click it. Maybe all scripts on the current page, maybe all scripts in the browser window, maybe all scripts in all browser windows--but the basic idea is "turn it off!!!" And no scripts will work until you toggle it back again.

Re: Suggestion: "Stop all scripts" button
I think it's a good idea, but not really within the scope of NoScript, since it would just be a nuisance-blocker (malicious scripts could do their damage already). Feel free to develop another addon for it; I'm sure people would be interested. I'd want to try it.

Indeed, I too would envision this more as a browser feature.
Some possibly related bug reports in Mozilla's bug tracker on this:
Some possibly related bug reports in Mozilla's bug tracker on this:
- Bug 61098 – Exit all currently active scripts (marked fixed because the problem of alert loops has been somewhat fixed, but the original idea was at some point to stop all script execution)
- Bug 384412 – Allow suspending JavaScript interpreter by removing use of C stack (this would probably have to be implemented in order make this possible)
- Any such feature would certainly be a tool against JS traps and thus about what Bug 432687 – Protect users from Javascript trap websites is about.
