Feb 1, 2011 I noticed that I could not 'Like' anything on Facebook nor could I open 'comments' that Friends have made.
Today, Feb 2, 2011, the Facebook main page does not load.
Both of these issues result from Blocking fbcdn.net
If I allow fbcdn.net things work fine, if I block it they don't. This is new as of Feb 1, 2011.
I searched in Forums, found another post with some other person having problems on Facebook and saw that the Mod suggested they try the newest NoScript Build. I tried that and am still having the same issue.
Win 7
Firefox 3.6.13
NoScript 2.0.9.7rc6

Re: Facebook not loading with fbcdn.net Blocked
fbcdn.net is the domain where all Facebook's static content, including scripts, is served from for performance reasons.
Therefore the issue you're reporting is totally expected and normal, definitely not a bug: if you want Facebook to work, you need to allow both facebook.com and fbcdn.net.

Really! I read somewhere on the net that fbcdn.net should be Blocked.... thus, my message.
Thanks for clearing that up for me!

You are thinking of when you don't want it being allowed and used by OTHER sites, in which case you can easily use ABE to restrict its scope to JUST Facebook. Otherwise, you need both for the simplest resolution.N01UKnw wrote:Really! I read somewhere on the net that fbcdn.net should be Blocked.... thus, my message.
