Two FlashGot Media Suggestions

Hello all,
I've been using FlashGot for a long time and am very pleased with it.
I have 2 suggestions for the FlashGot Media component, that I hope be considered.

First, I would like to see an option for a button in addition to the FG media status bar icon.
I really like the functionality of the icon (being shown whenever a media is detected), but as a button its location can be customized by a simple drag, and not through the use of extensions.
As of now, it's stuck as the right-most icon on my machine and can only be moved with 3rd party extensions.


Second, I suppose FG media monitors the browser packet stream in order to identify currently playing media.
Given the above, I was hoping for an option to set specific file types (file extensions) to be monitored by FG media.

This will probably be done before Firefox 4 stable is out.

FG Media is a bit more complex than this, monitoring mime content types (e.g. "video/flv" or "video/mp4") and extrapolating them from file name or extension when the relevant HTTP header is missing or misleading.
So, could you express a concrete use case for this?

Glad to hear the button thing is planned
As for the other thing, I thought about it a bit more, and realized that most (if not all) of the videos I had trouble downloading involve some sort of extra complication, like streaming over RTMP.
Given that, I'm not sure it's that trivial in current state to implement support for such videos.

As for RTMP streams, perhaps a feature to pass the url to RTMPDump would be sufficient (http://rtmpdump.mplayerhq.hu/).
Also, is there any documentation as to what file types fall under the "media" category?
