Hi,
Since updating to version 2.0.9.7 a couple of days ago I've had trouble getting images, formatting or anything other than text to render on one particular web site (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/). Other web sites seem to work ok though.
I tried whitelisting everything and then reloading a few of the DailyMail pages but got the same result. The following link is one of the pages that didn't work.

It's probably a minor issue but I haven't been able to resolve it. Does anyone have suggestions about what might be causing this and what I can do to fix it? Thanks.

Re: Website not rendering properly
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... z1D1IwNia3 looks fine to me, with or without Allowing dailymail.co.uk
My setup is Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 Firefox/3.6.13 (Windows XP)
NoScript 2.0.9.8rc1 with default whitelist and settings
See if any of the following helps:
- Try clearing your Firefox cache and any cookies for dailymail.co.uk
- Update to NoScript 2.0.9.8rc1, the latest development build
- Reset NoScript's Options (You may want to export your whitelist before doing this.)
- Extension conflict: Does the problem still persist if you temporarily disable all of your other extensions except NoScript? (using NoScript's default settings)

Re: Website not rendering properly
Alan, thanks for your recommendations. I tried the above including resetting all NoScript options back to default and trashing the 3 firefox extensions. I only have one other add-on. Disabling that and restarting had no affect on the daily mail site.
Interestingly, when I tried to download version 2.0.9.8rc1 the link "…. you may try this development build." wouldn't work. The progress bar at the bottom of the browser quickly flashed across and that was it. Right-clicking on the "development build" hyperlink and then selecting 'Save Link As…' brought up a window with the following:
Download Error: The download cannot be saved because an unknown error occurred. Please try again.
There is one other page which I forgot to mention that I occasionally have issues with. Sometimes it's ok, sometimes the page doesn't render at all. As above, there's just a quick flash of the progress bar with no change. Currently I can't get it to display.

Works fine for me with NoScript's default settings, with or without allowing asahi.com.max111 wrote:There is one other page which I forgot to mention that I occasionally have issues with. By default, Firefox adds a notification bar at the top of the page when you click that link. You have to click the Allow button on the right-end of that bar. If it still doesn't work for you, the latest version, NoScript 2.0.9.8rc1, is available at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... /versions/.Interestingly, when I tried to download version 2.0.9.8rc1 the link "…. you may try this development build." wouldn't work. Are you still having a problem with http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... z1D1IwNia3? Since neither therube nor I can reproduce your issue, it appears not to be caused by NoScript. There may be a temporary problem with the sites or your Internet connection. If you care to, repeat step 5) from the NoScript troubleshooting guide.
What are your results?5) Perform a Standard Diagnostic. If NoScript isn't working by the time you get to the "Create a new profile" step, a new profile with no other extensions besides NoScript should work right.

Re: Website not rendering properly
Looks like it might be an issue with my firewall or something like that. Even starting up in Safe Mode and creating a new profile brings no change to the Daily Mail pages.
Looks like it's not an issue with NoScript so will make some adjustments to the firewall to see if it changes anything. I appreciate your help, thanks.
I didn't get the notification bar after clicking the "development build" link. When clicking on the link above I get a blank page and again, no notification bar.By default, Firefox adds a notification bar at the top of the page when you click that link.
