Google Translate automatic tranlate broken on last release?

Post by CharlesBelov »

I'm wondering whether Google Translate has been broken by the latest release of NoScript.

Yesterday, if I pasted Chinese characters into Google Translate, Google Translate would automatically detect that the characters were in Chinese and would translate them into English.

Today, I installed NoScript 2.0.9.7. Now I have to click the Translate button to get Google Translate to do the translation.

All scripts are allowed on that page (http://translate.google.com and http://www.gstatic.com)

Hope this helps,

It works fine for me with 2.0.9.7.

Does downgrading actually helps you?

If not, could you try Standard Diagnostic and/or NoScript Options|Reset?

Not sure what's happened, but it is working once again with no corrective action on my part. Perhaps it was a temporary glitch at Google's end that coincided with the NoScript update. (Or perhaps Google is testing their code against NoScript.)

Hope this helps,
