I log into a site and it comes up correctly for just a few seconds and then it switches to a page that shows only text. All formatting and design features are gone.
I don't make any changes in the program settings. I just use it in default. I know to go to "options" or the "S" at the bottom of the page and allow or temporarily allow and that's what I do. But guess I must have clicked on something wrong. I had to disable NoScript. Can anyone tell me what I've done wrong that is causing this?

Website/URL?
If you Allow, then visit the site, does it do the same?

Re: Pages won't display correctly
I was allowing, just like I always do. It would open the site correctly just for a second and then it would show the page as nothing but text. The site I was dealing with at the time was everydayhealth.com. I was trying to fill in my daily food journal and the graph and everything just disappears and all I have is text and numbers. I even tried using that add on to open in IE8 and it did the same thing.
I just checked something out. I was having problems with another site earlier today and also a couple days ago, sephora.com. When I would click on a makeup group instead of taking me there it would take me to a page that would tell me "oops ..." and go on to say that I had ventured into some unknown beauty territory and if this persisted to called Sephora. I just tried that site and it works fine since disabling NoScript.

Re: Pages won't display correctly
I haven't received more comment since my last reply, but want to add this.
This morning I was reading some of my newsletters and when I'd click on the link to take me to more information online, every one of them would not display. I was getting a page telling me the site could not be reached or some such thing. I finally uninstalled NoScript and now everything is working fine. However, I would like to have the protection it offers. Can no one tell me what is going on so that I can reinstall and use it?

What other extensions are you using?
Some (e.g. AVG Safe Search) are known to conflict with NoScript and cause this kind of issues.

Weatherbug / Update Notifier / Toolbar Buttons / Quicknote / Personas / Open in IE / Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant / McAfee Site Advisor / Java Console / VisibleHand / Email This / Cute Bottons / Cool Previews / Colorful Tabs / 1 ClickWeather / AddBlock Plus / Add to Amazon Wish List Button /
Thing is, nothing has changed. I've been using these and I've been using NoScript and other than the hassle of having to click to allow, I've had no problem. I know just a few days ago it came up that there was an update for NoScript. Could it be something to do with the most recent update?
Someone in the Firefox forum said to add exceptions for the sites I'm having trouble with but since they don't use NoScript couldn't tell me how to do it. I guess unless you know some kind of a fix for this I will just leave it uninstalled. I'm all for extra safety, but I'm not going to mess around with my pages not loading, etc.

These two are notorious breakers.Nikilet wrote:Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant / McAfee Site Advisor
Easy to check: just downgrade and see whether it actually helps.Nikilet wrote:I know just a few days ago it came up that there was an update for NoScript. Could it be something to do with the most recent update?
Also, can you see any message appearing in Tools|Error Console when it happens?
Could you give us one or more addresses to test?
