I've used flashgot and Downthemall for a long time, very successfully, with all kinds of flash videos (youtube, etc.)
I simply specified DTA as the download manager inside flashgot menu, select "flashgot media" and it would automatically go to DTA.
Yesterday it stopped working. The same method no longer works because flashgot always goes to the firefox built in downloader for videos. It just ignores my DTA specification in the setup menu, even though I toggled it back and forth a lot.
DTA still works fine by itself.
what's going on?

FlashGot Options | FlashGot Media, has a separate (from the general FlashGot download manager selection) download manager selector. Is that pointing to DTA?
Do you have FF Options set to automatically save downloads to a particular folder?
Don't know if that matters, but set it to prompt for the download location & see if that makes a difference.
