Hello,
Have been using noscript with Firefox for a long time. Recently every now and then after a while of surfing around ctrl-w for closing tabs would stop working and I would be forced to close Firefox and reload to get it going again. Disabling noscript has solved the problem but I no longer have noscipt enabled. Has anyone encountered this behavior?

Re: ctrl-w close tabs stops working
Nope, at this moment I've got a session with more than 80 tabs opened, from a couple of days (and a couple of hibernations) but ctrl+w is still working fine for me.
It might be a conflict with another extension, though.
I'd suggest Standard Diagnostic, if it was more reproducible
