clicking the status bar button

Post by bleh »

So with the new version we have the choice, either clicking the status bar button permanently toggles the current site, or the button does absolutely nothing?

Is there any way to get the old behavior back (the context menu)? Or other options (temporarily allow)?
I mean the fact that you allow us to switch it off is already heads and shoulders above how Firefox itself normally introduces stuff, but it would be nice if the alternative was more useful. =)

By default the new button behaves like the old status bar icon: if you click you (re)get the context menu (which anyway should already be there because it opens on hovering).

Only if you disable hovering, the button itself does nothing but the arrow opens the menu (unless you enable the toggling, which used to belong to the toolbar button only), which is arguably a bug: in fact, if toggling is disabled, the behavior should be "open the menu" for the whole button.

Thanks for noticing, it will be fixed.

Thanks a lot, I love you guys.

I can only (again) compare you to Firefox proper. And something like this would be like pulling teeth. =)
