The option to turn blocking on is always visible

Post by wwj »

The option to turn blocking of all unknown scripts on is visible at all times regardless of whether a user has chosen to display the "turn blocking off" menu item in the preferences window. While this is probably because the idea is to block foreign scripts again every time you turn NoScript into "don't block by default" mode, I'm using NoScript in that latter mode at all times, only blocking JavaScript on certain websites, so I'd like to be able to hide that menu item, and I believe so would some other users of NoScript. Any chance for that? :-)

Thanks!

Just uncheck NoScript Options|Appearance|Allow Scripts Globally (dangerous).

Hey, Giorgio! Thanks for your reply! The thing is, I have it unchecked, and NoScript ignores that (as if it assumes that if I turn off automatic blocking, I'm going to want to turn it right back on after doing something).
