[RESOLVED] noscript and sync setup recaptcha

Post by r32 »

Similar question as here: http://forums.informaction.com/viewtopi ... 89&start=0

except asking now about the recaptcha shown in the setup window for Firefox Sync add-on version 1.6, used with Firefox 3.6. (Fx4 has built-in Sync code, but with Fx3.6 you have to use the add-on.)

With the add-on form, I couldn't come up with NoScript settings that would let it show the recaptcha other than to allow scripts globally. It only works if I allow scripts globally; otherwise, the recapture is never shown. My NoScript whitelist includes mozilla.com (which allows https://auth.services.mozilla.com/misc/1.0/captcha_html, right?), recaptcha.net, and https://api-secure.recaptcha.net.

Is there something more I need to allow?

Thanks.

Unfortunately since Recaptcha has been acquired by Google, you'll probably need google.com and possibly googleapis.com as well.
However you should be hinted by the Recently Blocked menu item.

That was it exactly, thanks for that and the tip about recently blocked items.
