[RESOLVED] Since 2.0.9rc1 for all tabs the same context menu

Post by Mc »

Since noscript 2.0.9rc1 I get weird context menus of the noscript toolbar button. On first tab it does it right, but on all others it shows part of the menu from that first tab, whichever that was. It works if I go back to noscript 2.0.8.1.

Weird, can I see a screenshot?
Do you get any error message in Tools|Error Console?
Are you already on RC3?

(Assuming I'm looking at the right places, I'm not seeing anything odd.

On rc2 at the moment.)

Seems it's caused by a new incompatibility with my extensions. I didn't think so because of the errors I've sent you.
I supposed now it was caused by Menu Editor, but no. I'll go on investigating.

Inspect Context is the culprit ( https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/3276/ ), which I made compatible with Seamonkey.

Hm, the thread is set to RESOLVED now, what means you accept Inspect Context not running any longer. But it's a very convenient extension, which I would miss.
Is there no chance to get both running again, as it was with all NoScript versions from 2.0.8 back?

A workaround is to use the statusbar button. But never touch the toolbar button!

InspectorWidget works like Inspect Context without adding context menu to yours, so you could move this issue down in your todo list (except if there are other extensions which do the same).
The only drawback of InspectorWidget: it doesn't work well with tabbar elements in SeaMonkey 2.0/2.1.
