Problem with Baltimoreravens.com

Post by D Ess »

When I use the website baltimoreravens.com certain flash objects do not load when they should.
The problem is in fact with NoScript as they all work perfectly with it disabled;
The error console contains the message:
[NoScript] Blocking cross-site Javascript served from http://jqueryjs.googlecode.com/files/jq ... 3.2.min.js with wrong type info text/x-c, attachment; filename="jquery-1.3.2.min.js" and included by http://www.baltimoreravens.com/?homepage=true
I was wondering if there is a safe work around other than disabling it. If not I am perfectly content to wait for an update.
I am using NoScript 2.0.5.1 and FireFox 3.6.12.

The site owner is to blame here for including the script from the wrong place.

A workaround can be found at http://forums.informaction.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5337

I had one final question is it safer to allow http://jqueryjs.googlecode.com/ for noscript.inclusionTypeChecking.exceptions or http://jqueryjs.googlecode.com/files/jq ... 3.2.min.js?
the latter is the specific one that the error console had. If I only put the exception for http://jqueryjs.googlecode.com/files/jq ... 3.2.min.js would that only allow that script to run. I don't want to allow all scripts to run just this specific one.

Okay final post,
The site appears to have been fixed. It is no longer using googlecode.com for shared scripts.
I am still wondering if I run into this problem again what the safest way to handle it is. Basically I want to know how I can allow siteB.com to run a script on siteA.com and ONLY site siteA.com
