Hi!
I'm looking for a way to download video from http://www.wideo.fr/ website.
I tried Flashgot+Orbit it finds some link but Orbit fails to download the video.
Then I looked @ your FAQ and I tried DownloadStudio which didn't work neither (even Capture Audio and Video does crap because of my crappy computer, I only have quarter of video frames).
Then I looked here in the board and I read about UnPlug, I just installed and tried and it fails too.
So any help would really be appreciated.

Re: Wideo.fr Support ?
Working fine for me.
http://www.wideo.fr/video/iLyROoafJoHR.html
http://www.wideo.fr/video/iLyROoafJoDS.html
http://www.wideo.fr/home.php
Any of the above videos. FlashGot Media see's them all. And successfully sends the URLs to both Net Transport & Orbit downloaders.

Re: Wideo.fr Support ?
Thanks for your fast answer .
I agree it sends the link as I said in my first message, but there must be something wrong with the link as Orbit Downloader then fails to download the file.
Did you really achieve to save it on your hard disk? (Not just adding the link in Orbit)
Do you have some special config for Orbit?
Here is the end of my Orbit log (for last retry):

Re: Wideo.fr Support ?
In the case of Orbit & wideo.fr, the capture of the stream (or not) is being affected by the "URL" being passed.
In this case, the appended (file "name") information is causing the failure.
If you were to toggle the Preference item, flashgot.media.guessName (to false), the URL will be parsed correctly & the download will proceed. (Note there is also a "key" & very likely a timeout provision too. So the links below while accurate for me at the time of my post will not work for you. You would have to generate fresh links by visiting the page.)
So from this page, wideo.fr: jean michel jarre-oxygene,
This works:
Where this does not:
(Note: there may be a "better" way of handling this - other then changing the setting to flashgot.media.guessName, but I'm not sure offhand. Also wideo.fr may be peculiar in this respect where it would not matter to most other sites.)
(In days of old, jean michel jarre did not even like the posting of midi files of his music. MP3s were too big for the majority to download in a timely fashion. And now, here he is on video.)
