Flashgot 1.2.4 no longer downloads AVI files/streams

Since updating to 1.2.4 I am no longer able to capture any AVI video streams - it opens, starts and closes without anything in the downloaded file.
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101027 Ubuntu/10.10 (maverick) Firefox/3.6.12

Can you show me a page where it doesn't work?
Are you using any external download manager?
