I just updated NoScript, and now I get notifications that I didn't before. I'm referring to the "allowed.untrusted-glb" notifications that appear on any page that uses JavaScript. My configuration has not changed.
I have scripts globally allowed, because I use NoScript just for XSS blocking and to enforce HTTPS, not for general JavaScript control. (Please, I am not seeking advice telling me that I'm "using it wrong" or that this is "a bad idea".)
I would like to get XSS and other applicable notifications, so I don't want to disable them entirely. However, I'd like to do away with the constant, unhelpful "allowed.untrusted-glb" notifications. Is there a way?

Re: Preventing allowed.untrusted-glb notifications
Would disabling "Show message about blocked scripts" keep XSS and other notifications enabled? I was assuming that setting disables all of them. I don't know how to test this.
In any case, it doesn't make sense for a setting named "Show message about blocked scripts" to show messages for allowed scripts.

Yes. You've got separate settings for each notification kind. So yes, go ahead.i am hated wrote:Would disabling "Show message about blocked scripts" keep XSS and other notifications enabled?
