I have Firefox 1.6.11 or something and then when i pressed "install" it started installing, then i went to "extensions" and it said that Flashgot wasn't compatible with firefox
please help!

You've got Firefox 3.6.11.
FlashGot is compatible with it.
Please try to install it from http://flashgot.net/getit#direct
