[RESOLVED] Rapidshare asks you to wait...
Re: Rapidshare asks you to wait...
If it's any consolation, I received it, thus far, only with expired links.

Re: Rapidshare asks you to wait...
It only gives this error with only broken links. So maybe it is an advantage to check all the links are alive

Re: Rapidshare asks you to wait...
It should actually just skip broken links.Damnned wrote:It only gives this error with only broken links. So maybe it is an advantage to check all the links are alive
Could you show me the links in question, and tell me which language you're using Rapidshare in?
@everybody else
Please check latest development build, which makes much more easy to turn this behavior off when it's offered first time, in case you prefer to let your download manager handle logins on its side.

Re: Rapidshare asks you to wait...
I think it should be available to turn RS redirection off per download manager in flashgot options.
Some downloaders have this built-in and there's no need to check that twice.

Re: Rapidshare asks you to wait...
Please try latest development build. You can turn it off on the fly, first time it's checked.wiatrak wrote:I think it should be available to turn RS redirection off per download manager in flashgot options.

Re: Rapidshare asks you to wait...
I also receive the same error message after the upgrade.
HOWEVER, the advice of Giorgio Maone to add the boolean preference to firefox fixed it perfectly for me and everything is working again as it was before.
Thanks, And I would suggest everyone else with this problem also make the change.

Re: Rapidshare asks you to wait...
If it only were so, but I'm 200% that the links I checked were working. I used RapidShare Link Checker:Damnned wrote:It only gives this error with only broken links. So maybe it is an advantage to check all the links are alive
Code: Select all
http://rapidshare.com/#!rapidtools/rapidtools_rsc
I will delete the boolean, install the development version and try again...

I would if I could, but the download link results in: Not Found The requested URL /download/betas/flashgot-1.2.3rc2.xpi was not found on this server.Giorgio Maone wrote:

Re: Rapidshare asks you to wait...
Ok, I deleted the boolean I manually added earlier and installed the development build. I then tried to download some RS links. When the pop-up for RS redirection appeared I unchecked it and chose "No". flashgot.redir.rapidshare_com.enabled; false was added in about:config and after that, downloading with RS works just fine. I'm a happy customer.

Re: Rapidshare asks you to wait...
because I am NOT an experienced user (just a RS downloader) I like to tell you that the problem persists .... would it be an option to go back to a previous version of Flashgot in order to avoid this problem? If yes : please tell how to do this correctly. Should I first of all remove this bad version and restart my brower or my entire pc and than reinstall the older version ?

To downgrade: http://flashgot.net/feed (no need to uninstall anything).INSIDER wrote:because I am NOT an experienced user (just a RS downloader) I like to tell you that the problem persists .... would it be an option to go back to a previous version of Flashgot in order to avoid this problem? BETTER: upgrade to latest development build.

Re: Rapidshare asks you to wait...
I have the same problem here as anyone else had, I don't have a paid RapidShare account, I just download regular RapidShare links and version 1.2.2.1 of FlashGot is causing very annoying pop up questions when I wanna add a RapidShare link to my JDownloader download manager.
You should fix this or I'l gonna use an old version that works instead.
I'm not installing any dev builds only builds from https://addons.mozilla.org so beware.

Beware that you screwed it this time, or is RapidShare paying you to deliberately annoy users with f*cking pop up questions ???Giorgio Maone wrote: Beware what, exactly?
