Removed status icon hover effect
Removed status icon hover effect
I am a long-time happy user of NoScript. I saw "[UI] Removed status icon hover effect" in the v2.0.3.4rc2 update. I was worried that the hover-to-open menu feature was gone, but it looks be intact thankfully. I'm wondering what was removed?

Re: Removed status icon hover effect
It has been removed mainly because the -moz-transition CSS effect used to switch the appearance was apparently too much a performance hit on older hardware (I wonder how the same effects in the Firefox 4 toolbar work on that hardware, though) and I was not very happy with the aesthetics, anyway.

I liked it too
! Why wouldn't be it "optional" (on\off) ...
But I would like to see several animations there ... may be on some events of NoScript ...
