[Resolved] Not Working With New Rapidshare?

Post by da5id »

Hi,

I just wondered if the Flashgot was working with the new Rapidshare (they seemed to have a whole new look etc).
I have a premium RS account and tried to download using Flashgot as normal (together with Orbit), and instead it saved a small file called "rsapi.cgi"

Do I have to update something for downloading to work with the new Rapid Share?

Could you check whether "Direct downloads" is "On" in your "Settings" Rapidshare page?

Hi,
I haven't got any kind of account on rapidshare and when i trying to download smth. with Flashgot - Download Master, it saved a small file called "rsapi.cgi" just like da5id said.

Everything was O'K till Rapidshare's redesign (with Alt+Enter).

In fact, they completely changed the way free downloads are served, with an intensive use of AJAX.
I'll try to catch up in a future release.

What does this mean, exactly?

Could you tell me what you're doing, exactly?
Using "FlashGot Link" on any rapidshare link should suffice (you shouldn't need anymore to wait and use alt+click on the button).
If that doesn't work for you, could you show me the page and the link which the problem can be reproduced with?

Hi,
and Excuse me!
You was right - IT WORKS ! It's my fault.
Well done.
Sorry for disturbing, again.

P.S.
"When, finded 1.2.2.1rc1.xpi"
...//secure.informaction.com/download/betas/flashgot-1.2.2.1rc2.xpi
I just replaced 1.2.2.1rc2 to 1.2.2.1rc1 in link above and installed previous version.
P.P.S. Should i erase my previous posts ?

Hmm...it seems it's still not working for me...

I'm not sure what's wrong. I have an RS premium account, and after they re-did the site, I am unable to mass download links...
I have:
-Flashgot
-Orbiter downloader

Both updated to the lastest versions.
I checked the credentials for my rs account on orbiter, so that should be in order...but no game :(

Did you check whether the "direct links" option is enabled in your RapidPro account?
BTW, with FlashGot you don't need to store credentials in Orbit, but to login in Firefox with the "remember me" option.
