Zynga Toolbar

Post by monkeeboy »

Hi,

I can no longer login in to Facebook on the Zynga toolbar. This was working fine up until recently, after I had entered conduit.com into the whitelist. But for last 3-5 days, the toolbar won't let me login unless i disable noscript and restart firefox. (It doesn't work if i just "allow scripts globally" either.)

Has something changed in an update? Do i need to add something else to the whitelist?

Thank you.

Hi,

No, i had 2.0.3. I have now updated noscript.

It hasn't made a difference.

Thank you.

Could you try clearing your cookies?
Can you see any error or info message (red or blue, the yellow ones are not interesting) in Tools|Error Console when this happens?

Hi,

I have the following two errors plus the message underneath which seems relevant. I added conduit-services.com to my whitelist but it didn't help.

Error: FB is not defined
Source File: http://toolbar.zynga.com/game_iframe_proxy.php
Line: 71

Error: FB is not defined
Source File: http://toolbar.zynga.com/fb_notifs/
Line: 173

ffupdate.conduit-services.com : server does not support RFC 5746, see CVE-2009-3555

Update. So i disabled noscript, used the Zynga toolbar as usual, then restarted Firefox with noscript running and the toolbar still open at Mafia Wars.
This time there are a lot more errors on the console. So in Noscript i said to allow all on this page and voila the toolbar works again (for now anyway). (I forbade a couple of the sites I didn't want too.)
Don't know if you can shed any light on this?
I'll let you know if it still works tomorrow.

Thank you.

Maybe try disabling whatever extension chrome://searchshield/ belongs to.

Should be AVG, IIRC.

It could also be McAfee SiteAdvisor, I have seen that global extension make certain pages and tools not function right.
