What to me to make that FlasGot downloaded video with RuTube.ru?

OK, please try the following:

1. Right-click the shortcut which you use to launch Firefox and select "Properties"
2. Edit the Target line to end with "-console" and press "OK"
3. Launch Firefox by clicking the just edited shortcut: Firefox should start with a terminal window attached
4. Open Tools|Error Console and evaluate the following script:

   Code: Select all

   top.opener.gFlashGotService.__parent__.MediaSniffer.debug=true
   

5. Now open the rutube.ru page which doesn't work, and annotate for me whichever message you see passing in the attached terminal window (you can use Edit|Select All and then [ENTER] to copy the content of the terminal).

As why it does not appear, at this moment I've got no idea.
You said it doesn't work on a clean profile with just FlashGot either?
Could you set the javascript.options.showInConsole about:config preference to true and check whether any error (red!) message appears in Tools|Error Console when you start the video?

On pressing the FG icon only the ad is downloaded. I tried right clicking FG and it shows only the ad clip 208 kb as available.

And didn't even need to press play (which typically you do) & FlashGot Media already picked up the file.
Downloaded fine.

Nagan, could you try a US proxy to see if that makes a difference for you.

Appears there's some sort of "double load" going?
And the clip does actually load into your Cache even though Play has not been clicked nor does the timeline show that clip is loading.
